2. Written by pchelp, on 14-03-2010 16:14 Yes, they are crooks. They are set up to get your money. That is why they are unable to fix their "errors." Their website is set up to make money for them by its "errors." This is interstate theft via software and the internet. I will pay what I owe them, minus their bogus finance charges and late fees. I have all my interactions documented. I would love to be part of the class action. Let me know when it goes forward.
3. Written by Julio Paz y Mino, on 14-03-2010 16:03 GEMoney is using their website and technology to steal from consumers. They do not correct the errors because they want to keep the money they have designed their policies to steal. I have made all payments on time and even overpaid, but their practices are subjecting me to bogus late fees and bogus finance charges. I have all of my payments, made on time, documented. I would be happy to be part of a class action against them. My plan is to finish my payments on time and ignore their bogus charges. I will watch this website to find out about class action information and to join.
4. Written by Jon Correll, on 09-03-2010 16:57 I'm all in as well. GE Money Bank seemed great until they socked me with a $1700.00 interest charge and ending the promotional period on my plan. They say it's because I was late on two payments during the promo period. The second late payment was because they chose to post my check one day late on a Saturday. I tried to talk with them and write a letter but I was told there was nothing they could do. My email address is Please contact me regarding the suit if you pursue. Jon
5. Written by Susan Park, on 06-03-2010 17:49 YES! I am SO glad that I have found this! I thought that I was going crazy! My story is similar to many that I have read here and PLEASE count me in! I am so frustrated over this and have lost sleep. Please keep me posted! Susan
6. Written by Tricia Werdmuller von Elgg, on 06-03-2010 17:31 I am a single mother of five living in Califonia. My middle daughter and my only two small grandchildren live in Jacksonville, Florida. In order to get money to her without incurring additional costs (i.e. transfer fees, loading fees, etc) I encouraged her to pick up a Walmart money Card so I could do online transfers to her card directly from my bank. ON the Walmart moneycard site it is encouraged to handle transfers online to avoid additional costs fro either side. After receiving her permanent card in the mail, I transfered money to her card directly from my bank as directed, carefully following all direction from the site. Now it is three weeks later and the money I sent is still not noted on her Walmart Moneycard. Customer service doesn't help in any way. My bank has verified the transfer fully from their end. GE Moneybank is unreachable. Any number referal is leads to another entity not helping. GE Moneybank needs to be taken to court for these issues as I am finding that this is a common occurance in respects to Walmart Moneycards. So much for being there to help consumers. HELP!! |
7. Written by Jonathan E Murphy, on 06-03-2010 05:46 I have spent years trying to rebuild my credit and it appears that GEMB has undone all of my efforts. They never bothered to send me a bill, I only found out when I got my annual credit report. What sense does that make? All of my other bills are current and yet this one I never got and they are screwing me over? You better believe that I am ready to fight tooth and nail to get my credit back. You may contact me in matters related only to the class action lawsuit. Super murph 69 at gmail dot com.
