I have reviewed many of the responces and stories concerning everyone's experience with GEMB and they match my own for the most part. Lets get some things out of the table. GEMB are scoundrals, they are business scam artists and believe it or not, we have a case! I'm all for sueing GEMB, anyone interested in participating in a class action law suit contact me. 3) Go to www.complaintsboard.com. Do a search on CareCredit, GEMB or GE Moneybank. You will notice they have a running scam. Use that as ammo against them!

I though Obama had declared this illegal. I owed less than 50 dollars and we moved and mail was not forwarded properly and they want me to pay over 250 in fees. Man on phone said get out my contract and read the little bitty fine print that says I authorized them to charge me 35 per month late fee! I will pay the interest but nothing more and he said not to send the check he would notate it. |

I missed one payment ( two weeks late because I didn't get the bill ), paid it immediately when notified, and also paid the late fee. Ever since that happened, my payments have gone up and up, even though my statement says the same interest rate. Also, they continue to claim an interest rate on the late fee, even though that was paid immediately. Was looking at my bill today, and noticed it states that my balance is $897, if I pay my min. payment ( which is now at $164 ) it will take 8 months to pay off, and the total amount paid will be $943.....$164 x 8 = $1312, not $943. I've complained and gotten nowhere, this has been going on for over six months already. Where is the extra money I'm paying going ? Is there a class action lawsuit? If not, why not ? Does FTC do anything ? ( doesn't sound like it ) I'm sure if they are doing this with my account, they are doing it with thousands of accounts, that all adds up to alot of "mystery money " for the company! |

I have been taken advantage of, harrassed with use of deceptive practices. I am filing with Federal Trade Commission next if possible. I have 100 pages of documents if you are indeed serious about this class action suit. |

Written by Neil on January 4, 2012 from newtown, new south wales, AU GEM told me the best way to cull my creditline acc. was to take out a pers. loan with "guess who" and the finance rep told me the fig. of $5000 was just the interest, so I was sucked in as I have found out the actual p/out fig should have been $3300, which under the law makes the contract Invalid based on deceit by GE's rep.so the loan became a $7000 loan with intst on top amounting to total $11000, wwithin was a costing for Sick/accident/unemployment ins which after having an acc. they started proceeding against me and became very Errant when it came to the Insurance,they told me a year ago the accont had been cleared, recently got a strange letter of apology stating premium had not been administered and had been credited to my ???? account. dont know which account though,and more recently got a letter from Lion Finance Qld telling mr they bought the debt, they wont be getting a cent, Lion are bigger shonks than GE if theyre not the same co. that is, and they stoop to loan shark levels of harrassment, I would gladly join a class action all the way to the top.I'm in. 0413495642. |

Opened a Care credit with 12 months zero interest never missed a payment but right on the 12 month they charged me $ 970.00 just for the interest ..... And I payed the balanced in full ..... Not fair !!! |

I also was on phone with them and left me hanging. If I was connected to a service rep. they could not assist me because my address is different or some of my personal information is different. I was told to write to them to update my information before they could provide some assistance. I got fed up and filed a complaint with the st of ca but was asked to complete more paperwork with another office to properly filed a complaint. Anyone out there, please do not do business with GEMB, you will not know what you are paying and if you don't, they harass you. I do not like the way they do business.... Please Please do not give your hard earned money to them....they are a scam...... |
