GE Money Bank complaint
I've been a credit card holder for 5 years with NO late payments. Today I get a letter saying my credit limit has been lowered because of negativity on my credit report. I am on the final year of bankruptcy and was approved for the card 4 years into it, so any negativity I've had was there when approved.

I called them inquiring about the letter and got a sarcastic rep by the name of Johnny. He reiterated what the letter said, as if I can't read. Mid sentence, I told him that if this was the way their loyal customers were treated, I no longer wanted to be one and 0to close the account. He tried to talk me out of it and suddenly wanted to be nice. I told him I wasn't interested in any further dialogue with him and please do as I had asked. He got snippy and told me, "sure".

Violates

Fair Credit Billing Act

Electronic Funds Transfer Act

Fair Credit Reporting Act

They treat their customers like we are all too stupid. your best bet is to cancel your cards as they are clearly indicating no customer is at all important to them
