Ge Money on behalf of Dillard's a Rip Off

This is my first department store credit card, and majority of my purchases I make a payment as well. I've noticed when I make payments it doesn't post, so I started making cash payment in August/September in the Dillard's store. I went to make a purchase $35 and the card was declined...my credit limit is $800 I called on 11/12 evening, the automated stated my balance was 600 something and my last payment(100) on Nov6 which is my dd. I talk to a supervisor she stated a cash payment did not post until 11/8, and my September payment posted in November. The automated system disclosed the payment but the rep said I did not make a cash payment until she got my receipt# and they charged me fees. Then they close my account Sunday stating I had a NSF on cash when in fact I did not...which will cause a bad mark on my credit reporting.

Taking advantage of people who are not credit savy.

My brother called me about his bank account being frozen. The levy was executed by GE Bank. My brother had sufferedan injury at work and was forced to retire. He receives a small pension from his previous employer plus he has Social Security disability. Money is tight and he got behind on his credit cards and sought helpfrom GE Bank by signing up for their "expert" help with handling his problem. GE Bank was less than helpful, in fact they didn't help except to demand payment for services that were not existent. He sent them a notice of termination of services but they continued to demand payments. He stopped payments which has now resulted in a levy being initiated. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't do business with these people. If you need help talk with those you do business with first and if you have a family member talk to them for advice. Don't be embarassed to asked for help but watch out for someone who tells you they can take care of all of your problems. NOW WE GO TO THE LAWYERS AND GIVE THEM SOME MONEY.

Leave me the *** alone.

Purchased tires last month from Tire Kingdom (Ge Money Bank)and in the space of that month have gotten several calls saying my payment was late...ITS BEEN A MONTH how late could I be?! I sat here and watched my wife make an online payment...within 24 hours...another call. As a result Tire Kingdom will never get my business again I don't care if I have a blowout on their doorstep, I will walk 10 miles to another dealer if necessary. Tire Kingdom Stop using GE Money or I walk. GE Money bank is a scam bank, I have had more than a few cards from retailers but this is the first time I have had this kind of response.

GE money store closed my accounts

Because GE money bank employees thought I sounded like a female, they said suspected fraud and closed all my accounts, even though the payments have been made on time directly from my checking account bearing my name. The funny thing is I am a police detective. Each time a call was placed to these people, which was minimal they called me ma'am and I said I am a man and verified all info. I never called Amazon.com until today when checking to see if the payment was received and discovered my account was closed to further purchases, as well as my Walmart (first payment was due 11/11/11 and JC Penney. The person on the phone at Amazon.com credit (not american)said he couldn't tell me why but a letter was sent to my address. The same address that all purchases were delivered to. I definitely understand fraud protection, but I was not having things sent to a different address or changing address. Also, I received the pre-approval certificate from Walmart. When trying to add my wife as an authorized user on JC Penney, the person on the phone said I'm sorry you don't sound like a man, which I suspect caused this when I was rude back to the person on the phone and took offense to the whole process. Even though I verified the information required, called from my home phone listed on the application. The associated was laughing and saying I needed to go into the store to show id to add my wife as a user of this card (200.00 credit limit). My wife said she could just order on line if I didn't want to go in the store. I further spoke to someone who asked me about addresses and information that only I could verify, which I did successfully. The accounts were still closed and I am expected to pay on time or risk ruining the credit I have recently began to repair. And this could still look bad because THEY closed the accounts. Also with payments coming directly from my account which they could have called my bank, this is absurd to me. They claim that they were trying to avoid fraud on my name, however, this is not true. In reading other complaints about this same situation occurring, it seems to me these people are just plain crooks that take advantage of people by extending credit, then closing the account. Never Ever use GE Money store, GE Bank or whatever they call themselves. I am calling the Better Business Bureau and also letting everyone know that I was discriminated against because of the sound of my voice.

Ge moneybank care credit complaint

I made the mistake of using GE Care Credit. The payment was sent through the mail more than five days ago and I get a call from someone who speaks English as a second language. Haven't received the payment so I offer to send an overpayment over the phone with Credit Card. First they said my card is declined that has a $20,000 dollar limit with no outstanding balance before they realize VISA is not Accepted. I refused to give them debit card information for as a rule I will never give that information over the phone.... Especially to someone outside the USA. I was charged $15 to use a MasterCard :( . Checked my bank and to my surprise, the check cleared on the same day!!!! Have sent three overpayments (more than double the required) since the account was opened as this is the fourth and will pay the remaining balance in a few days and close this account. Will never use this service again or buy any GE product. As a licensed professional I would charge a client $125 for the 30 minute conversation I had with someone who didn't fully understand English or apparently the scope of the job of which they are employed. Now that the wife wants a new dryer will do the research to make sure GE doesn't have any profit in its manufacturing. Should have just written a check and not fell into the free interest hassle. Live and learn. GE only sounds American in brand. They will harass you, even with check in hand.

GEMB/CARE CREDIT ACCOUNT

I took out a Care Credit Account due to my dog's cancer surgery in August 2009. I also elected the benefits plan. GEMB representatives agreed verbally via telephone, that they would accept a lump-sum payment from me once my dog insurance reimbusement check arrived. I contacted GEMB numerous times over the next few months. Representatives always willfully agreed to wait for the lump-sum payment and also agreed to document this arrangement in my account. In November 2009 I became injured and had surgery, which prevented me from working for the three consecutive months following. I contacted GEMB and their Benefits dept to arrange to utilize the benefits. I was instructed by them that I had to wait at least three months to file an application, provide medical documentation and bring my bill payment up to date at that point, but then due to my circumstances I would most likely be dismissed of my entire bill. When I had received the dog insurance payment and contacted GEMB to pay them the clearly established lump-sum payment agreement....I was informed that my account was already charged off! I received absolutely NO notification that I was being charged off and when I attempted to politely rectify the situation with GEMB supervisors, I was treated unprofessionally. I was told that my account was charged off and would not be retreived under any circumstances. In addition, I was told that GEMB had no records of my innumerous calls to them! My account was severly mishandled and the company would not address the problem! July 2011 I finally realized that I could contact the Office of Thrift Supervision/The OCC for help. I filed a grievence immediately, which they passed onto Corporate for GEMB. I received a smug response from GEMB claiming the following: They stated that their representatives would never make arrangements for a lump-sum payment despite my claim that they did so more than once. They stated that I never called to make payment arrangements but in another place stated that they had record that I contacted them. What else would that be for??? They then provided unknown new letters to the Office of Thrift Supervision which they claim to have sent me prior to the charge off. I never previously received these letters! To resolve the entire issue, GEMB agreed to call back my account from the debt collector and place it in good standing again, removing any excess charges. I was also granted the ability of trying to apply to use the benefit again. Since GEMB recalled my account and removed the late charges, I asked them to also notify the Credit Bureaus that the account was being corrected. They refused! GEMB's stated that I was previously delinquent with payment. This was one of the reasons for my grievence against them to begin with, that they are finally addressing! I did not feel that I was legitimately delinquent with payment since arrangements for lump-sum payment were repeatedly confirmed with them. If GEMB is correcting their abuses towards my account then there is absolutely no reason that they shouldn't also notify the Credit Bureaus honestly about what has taken place. Isn't it against the law for a credit card company to continue to report a consumer as delinquent to the Credit Bureaus when the negative matter has been reversed by the company?! I FEEL VERY STRONGLY THAT MY INFORMATION SHOULD BE CORRECTED WITH THE CREDIT BUREAUS TO REPRESENT WHAT TOOK PLACE!

I filed an appeal with the OCC again, for the Credit Bureaus to be honestly informed of my account reversal. My request was denied by GEMB.

GE Money / GE Capital Retail Bank: Federal Banking Violations

Was offered an account at the vet's office in the middle of the night: emergency treatment for the dog. Had left my check book and major credit card at home in the rush of getting the animal to the hospital at 4AM before she died. I have an excellent credit rating so getting immediate approval was not a problem. I charged the initial vet fee to the account in the middle of the night because that's what's necessary for the vets to treat the animal. And I paid the balance owed the next day with a personal check. Before the GE Money credit card even came in the mail with the MANDATORY DISCLOSURE information federal law requires, the bill came. With a $35.00 charge for a late fee! When the bill came, I didn't even know what the interest rate was much less the late fee charges! Without the MANDATORY DISCLOSURE information in compliance with federal law, the consumer has no idea what the charges for interest and penalities may be. Which is why companies offering credit have to DISCLOSE all of that to the consumer at the time credit is offered. No such information is available at the vet's office and none came BEFORE the first bill. I have closed the account -- who wants to do business with a finance company which cannot comply with federal law? And before I closed it, I paid all of the actual charges for the one vet visit. But I didn't pay the initial late fee charged before the MANDATORY DISCLOSURE was provided to me. And because I didn't pay the initial late fee -- and I called GE Money and told the rep why I wasn't paying that -- then another late fee was added to the first one! GE Money reps are calling me now demanding the balance of what's charged on the account. And what's left on the account is $151.00. Which just happens to be the same amount as what's reported in the 2011 Totals Yeat-to-Date as "Total Fees Charged in 2011." In other words: the amount of the single purchase was paid, there were no interest charges and all that's left on the account are multiple late fees for refusing to pay late fees chaged without the MANDATORY DISCLOSURE. An initial late fee charged in violation of federal law, followed by several more charged after the total of the purchases charged was paid is what's left on the account. And when the GE Money people call, they are vicious. Just vicious. Refuse to listen to what the consumer says even though they eventually are forced to agree that what the consumer says is what the law requires. Doesn't matter. And don't ask for a supervisor to get on the phone: from dealing with serveral reps, it sounds like there are no supervisors because one is never available or can't call back or can't come to the phone or is on lunch break. Ninety-six reasons are given why the consumer can't speak to a supervisor to sort out a problem. I asked the last rep I spoke to on the phone whether the account had been reported to credit bureaus as delinquent or late. Rep refused to answer that question although she certainly knew the answer. Keeping information from the consumer does nothing positive to sort out problems. Just bad business. Right now, I'm sending the whole mess about this account to the state concumer commission for investigation. And if I find out that there's a negative report from GE Money on my credit history for late payments after GE Money violated federal law, I'll send the matter on to federal banking authorities as well. It is absolutely a violation of federal law to impose interest charges or penalities of any kind in a consumer credit situation UNLESS and UNTIL the consumer is given the MANDATORY DISCLOSURE information which applies to any credit account. My advice to anyone else: don't use GE Money or GE Capital Retail Bank or whatever they have changed the name to this week. It changes all the time and perhaps it has to be changed because there are so many public complaints!

GE Capital Retail Money Bank has changed its name Three (3) times first name GE Capital, second name GE Capital Money Bank and the third change GE Capital Retail Money Bank. As you can see they always have the word "MONEY" in their name and they should really have "MONEY" in their name because that is all that matters to them!

You don't I don't and millions of people out there don't. They use all the tricks in the book plus make up their own! If you want to see just how BAD they are go and look at the documents that I have uploaded and you will see they have gotten totally out of control. The agencies state and federal can't even keep up with their "Crooked Tactics".

In fact they are so brazen they actually called Bank of America a lier even when showed the document of where they WIPED out my account without my permission! They lied to the District Attorney's Office in Santa Clara, CA! This is the way they make their BILLIONS! They have a lot of pull with someone high up to get away with what they are doing and have been doing for years to the consumers.

Someone's pockets are getting lined by this corrupt bank who makes money anyway they can and they don't care how they do it or who they squash on the way to continuing to make their "BILLIONS"! Go to "Crook-A-Titus" and "*** Titus" Disease and you will see ACTUAL documents with their BOLD FACE LIES! Heck "The Consumer Financial Protection Agency” which I refer to as “The Confused Financial Pissonyou Bureau” they actually sent one of my complaints on this crooked bank to another company! Which was mentioned NO WHERE IN MY COMPLAINT!

This Screwed up Agency has been in business since 2011 and is DOING NOTHING to stop THE CORRUPTION they allow this bank to get away with! They see nothing wrong with this type of business practice. You can see this in the actual documents I have uploaded to this website. This agency “The Confused Financial Pissonyou Bureau” was founded in 2011 for “Reform on Wallstreet” well I guess the new reform on wallstreet was created so that banks like GE Capital Retail Money Bank that handles credit cards for “Wallmart”, JC Penny, Target, etc.

just go online and see just how many merchants let this bank *** and then go and look at how much they BRAG about making its “BILLIONS” at the consumers expense. Yes, Frank and Dodd which this agency was created for are real reform all right real reform! What a joke! Believe it or not your screwed along with all the rest of the consumers who get sucked into this EVIL bank and the EVIL government agencies that give them “CART BLAC” to make up their own rules, regulations, late fees, charging illegal amounts etc.!

They even change their late fee amounts from $25.00 and $35.00 to $15.95! They tell you to pay more then you owe and when you do they don't apply the whole amount, unbelievable really? So, we have to get it out there to let people know NOT to do business with businesses that associate with this “EVIL CORRUPT *** BANK”! This agency which has been in business since 2011 doesn't care how they do business!

This agency was created to help the consumer. Well, when you go and research who created it you will find that this agency is called “The Wall Street Reform Act” created by Frank and Dodd! Now do I need to tell you more! In fact ALL those documents that have been uploaded are A-OK with all the agencies The Office of the Comp Controller, The Department of Financial Institutions, The Federal Trade Commission, The Department of Justice etc., these agencies have turned over my complaints to these idiots at The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau which by the way police themselves, now need I say more?

They are even more A-OK with “The Confused Financial Pissonyou Bureau”. Money talks if you don't have it your screwed! That is what “Corporate America” continues to achieve anyway they can and anyone they can bribe to continue to get away with it and believe me they do! The POWER is with the people the consumer.

If we can not use credit cards that this “EVIL BANK” is associated with then maybe we can win!

Hit them where it hurts and that is their “BILLIONS” or “MONEY” which they have kept in all their name changes. Which I'm positive that they have made illegally.

Company refuses to send paper statement then calls when they don'yt get pd. They, of course, also add late fees.

On 9/28/12. They received my pymt for of 151 (late fee included) and on 10/23/12. They began once again harassing me concerning a late payment for this month when, again, I received no payment. i refuse to do anything over the phone or internet with them because I don't trust them.

Interestingly they state my balance due is 226.00 because they are charging me for OCT and NOV.!? I will look into FTC complaint to see if anything can be done about these shady business practices.

#382458

Very bad customer service> That is once you get someone on the phone.

Furniture purchase.salesman at Room Store quoted a payment of $29.00 monthly. When I got the bill fromm GE it was $51.00.

No one seems to be able to straighten it out for me.

Stiore blames GE. GE seems to have no answer.

In Jan. 2011 I used this credit for my chiropractor.

I was paying it off way ahead of time. I sent all payments in as soon as I got them, (usually 3 weeks in advance). I mailed my second to last payment in as usually and guess what? They said they never recieved it and charged me $35 late fee.

I checked with the post office as I always go in to send out bills and they said that nothing was found. I also checked with the dead letter office and they found nothing either. The check was never cashed. Sounds fishey Huh?

The last payment I sent in online. They must be very evil people.

GE Credit I was ripped off!

My dentists office told me I had gotten credit, I was pleased. It has been a nightmare with GE. I sent my payments in by paper 3 weeks early, they held the payment and then charged me late payment fees. I sent the next one so they had to sign for it. Still had problems, went to online payment. I was not aware of the $1000 fee they charged me for not paying it off within a year. I am at over 28% interest, I called many times and was blown off. I paid my payment early for the next month and they put it on the current month on purpose, waited two months then told me I had an overdue payment with charges. I was shocked. I am frightened every month. Penney's uses them, Walmart uses them, be CAREFUL! I begged to have someone reduce my interest not possible due to late payment that I paid in advance. Horrified, this company is part of USA's problem. BEWARE!

Care Credit Charges Interest on your Interest

I have had Care Credit for 3 years and got it first on recommendation by my employer (an animal hospital) to help pay for my cat's gall bladder surgery. My promotional period was for 12 months no interest. I used it a second time a year ago for a much smaller vet bill, with only a 3 month free interest promotional period as that animal hospital only gave me that option. I only paid the minimum on the card for that first year, mistake on my part, but I was broke and my cat would have died without the surgery. However, this last year I have overpaid considerably on my minimum (which also inexplicably jumped up by $30 several months ago) and only now am I even close to paying off the second purchase, which as I see it should have been easily paid off a while ago, despite the interest being so high. Upon examining my statement closer, I realized my "Total Purchase Balance" has been INCREASING each month. How is this possible? This balance has, over these three years, actually nearly reached what my original purchase cost me. I called and spoke to a representative who couldn't explain it, so she transferred me to an Account Manager. She would not give me a straight answer until the third time I said "This just doesn't make sense", and she finally told me that each month's interest charge goes to my "Total Purchase Balance", and then they charge their lovely 26% interest on that TOTAL amount. So I ask her, "This means you're charging interest on my interest? Isn't that illegal?" "Well ma'am, I'm sure we wouldn't be doing it if it were illegal," she responds. Yeah right. Corporations NEVER do anything illegal. So I'm on the *** of filing a civil suit against you GE Money, because you have obviously been screwing me, and from reading all the reports on here I can see I'm not the only one.

There is a big misconception of what charging interest on interest is.

If your balance is $5.00 for an interest charge and then they charge you interest on that charge, then that IS interest on interest.

Alot of people will calculate the amount of interest they have paid for a period of time and subtract it from their balance and say "They are charging me interest on interest", that is not true.

Interest on interest charges typically happens when a customer pays their account balance off in full, but pays it late. They will get a statement that only consist of an interest charge, and thus fourth they end up being charged interest on interest.

She is correct, it is legal, and it is practice of 99% of companies that lend any form of credit (revolving, installment, etc). Sorry

Care Credit

You guys are crazy. Care Credit is an excellent resource. Last year my Yorkie nearly died from Lyme Nephritis - his kidney's shut down - if it weren't for Care Credit I wouldn't have been able to afford the procedure that saved him. It again helped me out when I needed extensive dental work. You have 6 months, a year, 2 years whatever to pay off the balance without interest being charged - if you don't pay it off in that time period then you are going to be charged all the interest that you would have been charged all along. That is what the agreement states when you get the card. Read the fine print people what is wrong with you guys. The minimum payment - is just that a minimum payment - use your brain if you want to pay it off in the promotional period take what you charged and divide it by however many months you have. Of course the bank wants your interest - how do you expect them to make money. Jeez

Thanks :) I feel completely dumbfounded because I actually used to work at an animal hospital, and pushed the card onto many people to help them with those big charges like surgery, etc. And many of my co-workers had the card too.

I'll be contacting them to see if they're experiencing the same problem. I'll let you know how it goes :/

#355023

My cat also would have died if it were not for Care Credit. However, they are violating Usury Laws.

The agreement was NOT to charge interest upon the interest I am already being charged! What they do is take the full balance on your card, including each months' interest, and charge interest on the ENTIRE balance, not just the purchase balance. This is ILLEGAL. It's impossible to pay off at that rate.

You may not notice right now how you're being screwed, but I've been trying to pay off my balance for almost 3 years, 2 of those after the promotional period. I've made one very small trip to the vet since then with that card, and I just realized (despite overpaying my minimum each month) the balance is actually about where it was when I made the first charge 3 years ago.

I hope many of us experiencing these insane problems with GE Money/Care Credit will band together for a civil suit. I plan on talking to a lawyer next week.

GE Money - Old Navy

GE Money Bank - Old Navy is a complete joke. I tried to use the card to make a purchase on oldnavy.com. It kept getting declined. After looking up the account, I see that has been closed to further purchases. After discovering that I accidentally keyed in an incorrect number on the routing number for a previous payment (even though they had just received a payment directly before that AND the account IS NOT past due), they closed the account without any notification. Upon calling, my wife and I have received 3 different answers from the people we spoke to. The first *** whom my wife spoke to, said that he would only be able to speak to me -being the "primary" authorized user of the account (even though she is an authorized user on the account) and would be able to quickly open the account back up but I would have to call back in. She told him that the only difference in the information I gave and she gave would be the 1st names - which is the truth. He also told her that I would have to either mail in or fax a copy of my driver's license for verification. When she asked how would that verify anything since those things are not required upon opening an account online (which I did), he couldn't answer the question. I assume this was partly because he was in India and didn't speak English well. So I called back and spoke to a different *** and his *** supervisor. Neither of them could tell me why my wife was told that I needed to send in a copy of my driver's license or knew anything about opening the account up again via phone. This d*&kw#@$ kept calling me a "maam" and he spoke in a falsetto so I just kept calling him "maam" back. This supervisor also lied and couldn't cover up his lie well at all. When asked to listen to the recording of the person who spoke to my wife and explain why he told her the account could be opened again immediately once I called in, he said he couldn't do that while I was on hold. So I told him he didn't have the authority to listen to calls and he said that was correct. Not 2 minutes earlier did I ask to speak to someone higher than him and he said he was the highest there was. He began tripping over his broken English tongue and kept waffling between being a liar and not being a liar. Finally, I hung up on him and spoke to a female *** She claimed her birth name was Denia Roberts - again I know Roberts is a very common name in India! She had no knowledge of anything whatsoever - she was also rude, annoying and dumb. Needless to say I hung up on her as well. The point is GE Money Bank is a joke. A class action suit needs to be started. We rarely use this card and now we won't be using it at all. Boycotting Old Navy and GE Money Bank! I now know why our local Old Navy closed!

An account was somehow mistakenly placed on my credit report. I was told that someone sent something to Equifax to correct this issue but it will take 30 -45 days.

I haven’t been shown much compassion over the phone and I am really hoping someone can help me. Our home was destroyed in the Bastrop Texas Wildfires and we are now homeless and can’t get into a home because of this account being on my credit but the first person I talked to on the phone (the number I called was 1-87*-***-****) told me it doesn’t belong to me and my social security number isn’t even related to the account. I realize there is a process but unfortunately because of my children not having a home there is a real sense of urgency. Please help get me something saying this account is not mine so that I can get this removed from my credit.

My attorney says he doesn’t understand why no one will provide me with this information especially since it was verbally verified. I can provide the account number for this account if you contact me.

I called to change my statements from electronic back to being mailed. I spent almost 10 minuets in their phone system before being diconnected.

I called back and waited againb but did get to a customer service rep.. He toled me that because my wife is the primary card holder that she would be the one that had to call to make this simplel change.

I have nothing against Old Navy but the new card service thru GEMB has me ready to cut up their card. Is anyone eles having problems with this "Bank"?

GE Money Bank/GE Capital Retail Bank

On 9/13/11 I called to find out what was the total valance. However, they gave me a balance that was the doble of the original amount before the payment plan given. GE Money Bank staff stated that it was because I was paying late and as a result I had a extra fee of $35.00. I challenged the representative because how could I make a late payment, if GE Money Bank was deducting $20.00 monthly from my account. Then, I aked to speak with a manager. The manager indicated that this $35.00 dollars fee charge was included in the initial plan. In addition to the $20.00 deduction, GE Money Bank is also charging a monthly amount at thirty five dollars ($35.00) monthly without my consent. Furthermore, this extra $35.00 charge was never mentioned verbally when the payment plan was established on Dec. 14, 2010 nor have GE Money Bank provide any written documentation with regard to the $35.00 deduction.

Dear Margaret M. Keane,

Re: 000105****000138079

On 12/20/2012, I purchased a 2012 Kawasaki ZX10R at Long Beach Motorsports (3291 Cherry Ave Long Beach, CA 90807) and opened an account with GE CAPITAL RETAIL BANK.

Unfortunately, your Retail/Financing Bank’s service was inadequate because they customer service staff are unhelpful, lazy, and/or rude. All but one customer service representative were unhelpful. She informed me that all representatives had knowledge to fax numbers and all appropriate numbers and information. However, 90% of them did not have proper information and proper training. I am disappointed because I am being charged $10.00 service fees to make automated payments over the phone or $15.00 to speak to a “human”. I have been with many banks over the years and have had multiple accounts with Wells Fargo, Farmers Insurance Credit Union, Washington Mutual, and recently Pen Fed Credit Union. All of the following Banks that “finance” vehicles do not charge outrageous fees even close to what you are charging. I work for an insurance company and we charge at most for service fees $5.00. I am currently financing a car through Nissan/Infiniti Finance Corp. and they to only would charge $5.00 if I did not have automatic payments. I do however have automatic withdrawal payments with the above listed companies and NEVER pay REDICOULOUS SERVICE FEES!!! All of the banks listed have ONLINE capabilities to make payments, YOU DO NOT!!!

Friday the 19th of July I did make a payment for $250.00 over the automated phone and was never charged $250.00 for the payment and $10.00 service fee to make a payment with an automated system that costs you no money to use other than for the phone line and electricity. You are a multi-billion dollar corporation and you still have prehistoric ways of making payments? Is this how you generate so much money is charging these ridiculous fees?

To resolve the problem, I would appreciate it if you refund me my last late fee occurred this month. Enclosed are copies of my bank account information to withdrawal money from my account every month along with a voided check like I have so previously faxed and mailed multiple times, yet I continue to receive unable to enroll you papers.

I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem and will wait until 08/19/2013 before seeking help from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, a consumer protection agency, and/or the Better Business Bureau. I will also encourage fellow friends and customers to be more opinionated on the services which you provide them as well. Please contact me at the above address or by phone at 562-822-**** or email me at rynegriswold@***.net if you know how to use an email.

Sincerely,

RYNE A GRISWOLD

I recently found an account on my credit from GE CRB that is not mine and it is damaging my credit score. I have never even had an account with them!

#518575

do you have a fax phone number?

#512079

I had never heard of this bank until yesterday. I got a letter from Social Security telling me that I had requested to have my benefits payments sent to another institution, GE Capital Money Bank.

Sure enough, someone had convinced them that I had made such a request, and had gotten Social Security to redirect my payments.

I have filed a fraud complaint with the inspector general and changed my receipt information back to where it should be. To have someone attempting to steal social security checks from a Vietnam veteran who worked 40 years to earn it, to me is reprehensible!

Refused to re-issue outdate rewards check

G.E. Money bank refused to re-issue an outdated rewards check for shopping at Sam's club. I view this as an breach of implied contract and have also contacted Sam,s Club advising them to bring pressure to bear as they have the leverage. Sarah from G.E. Money Bank very curtly aserted that it is company policy to not re-issue outdated checks no matter what the reason. Shame on you Money Bank for keeping money that does not belong to you. This will also be sent to The Better Business Bureau. Copy of letter to Sams Club below. We have a rewards check that is out dated and were informed by GE Money Banks (Sarah), that they do not reissue checks which means we have lost our reward for shopping with you. They claim it is company policy and we think that you being the people wiith leverage, should endeavor to have this policy changed. $54.85 is not a lot to most people, but is a lot for senior citizens on a fixed income. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

GE Capital Retail bank/Sam's club did exactly the same thing to my nearly $1800 rewards check. The check expired 7/2012 and when I asked for re-issue of the rewards check on 12/2012, the supervisor at GE capital simply refused to reissue even though it was never cashed. This is a lot of reward money that I earned by using only its 2% cash reward Sam's Discover credit card for the entire year of 2011. Essentially, the bank made money by my use of its credit card, and the reward to the cardmember was just a small part of the money the bank already made from the mechants/retailers who accepts its credit card. Yet the bank make its own rules and regulations so that it will hard for consumers to get the money owe to them.

This is just another way that greedy bank and big cooperation cheap consumers.

On 12/21/2012, I had also written a letter of dispute to GE Capital Retail Bank. An expired reward check that has never been cashed should be eligible for re-issue. Also, I stated that the reward was never issue to me but made payable to Sam's Club only. According to the contract the rewards check should be issue to its cardmember.

However, no response from GE yet. 2/15/2013

I'm now considering my next course of action: Better Business Bureau, Texas Attorney General, etc. Welcome any help and suggestion. Consumers beware!
